Peter Thiedeke

Peter has a diverse history working internationally as a photographer and director. For the past seventeen years he has produced inspired, cross genre stills and moving image work.

First and foremost a photographer, he frames creative problems within a visual context, then re-imagines an image beyond the stills construct. With the ever-changing media environment and emergence of new technologies his ideas are in constant flux, experimenting with design, trans-media processes, the moving image and interactive platforms.

Peter has clients that span the globe from London, Paris and New York to Sydney, Tokyo and Buenos Aires. His clients include some of the worlds biggest brands such as Adidas, ASOS, Barclays Bank, BBC, Clarins, Clinique, Conde Nast, Diesel, Dior, Equire, Gillette, GQ, Greenpeace, Harrods, Harvey Nichols, House of Fraser, Lancome, Loreal, Sony, Sydney Dance Company, Underworld, UNIQLO, Vogue and Wired.

Often asked to create moving image content to work alongside stills for integrated and cross platform projects, he strives to achieve a result that is as cohesive in concept, style, aesthetic and production value to the stills.

On the rare occasions that he isn’t developing a visual concept he can be found working on his ecohouse project or just hanging out with his kids. As Peter says “Why be gratified when you can be invigorated?”
