New Zealander CHARLIE ANDREWS started out shooting skateboarding photography (a sport, which as a teenage boy, he was naturally obsessed with at the time) and his skill and finesse at capturing movement became apparent.
After completing his studies, Charlie spent two years honing his skills at a highly regarded photographic studio in Auckland. After working his way up through the ranks, an opportunity arose to assist still-life photographer Janek Croydon and manage his small production studio. Soon Charlie was shooting full-time at the studio, taking on the biggest catalogues and ad agency campaigns and eventually helping it become one of the biggest studios in New Zealand.
Branching out on his own, Charlie began shooting diverse advertising campaigns for clients such as Goodman Fielder, Coke, Microsoft, Sony Japan, Samsung, Kapiti Ice Cream, State Insurance, Westfield, Auckland Airport, Auckland City Mission, 42 Below, DB Breweries Beer, Robert Harris Coffee, Volkswagen, Nissan, Greenpeace and Vodafone.
Charlie’s skill at capturing movement has continued to prove useful throughout his career, with advertisers such as Panasonic, Nikon, Powerade, Les Mills, Mizone and Horely’s Sport Nutrition all recognizing this talent and engaging him to shoot their sport-related campaigns.
Specialising in still-life, action, and portraiture for advertising, Network Agency is proud to represent Charlie, who now calls Sydney home.
