Photographer CYBELE MALINOWSKI was born in Sydney but spent her formative years in Vienna, Austria, a culturally rich city that not only opened her imagination but sparked her fascination for art and music as well.

She went on to study Architecture at Sydney University which became a huge influence on her visual and spatial aesthetics in photography and in 2005 she was fortunate enough to make photography her full-time career. Since then, Cybele has quickly become known for her impressive music portfolio having shot everyone from Gotye, Florence & The Machine, Angus & Julia Stone, Powderfinger and Crowded House.

Cybele’s talent spans beyond just music though and she is regularly commissioned to shoot editorial features for Marie Claire, Cleo, Spin, Sunday Life and Jetstar magazines. Her advertising clients include MTV, Nookie, Isson, and Triple J.
