SASHA NILSSON has had a love for makeup for as long as she can remember. From watching her mother apply it every morning when she was a child, to working behind-the-scenes on school theatre productions, Sasha knew she had found her calling.
After earning a Diploma in Health Science, Sasha opened her own beauty salon where she worked as a skin specialist for a number of years. This knowledge only confirmed her belief. “The eyes tell a story so my passion lies there, but obviously skin is very important as you can create anything on a perfect canvas” says Sasha.
Wanting to express her creativity and pursue her ambitions, Sasha sold her business and worked her way up by assisting the country’s top artists, all the while honing her natural talent and skills. Sasha now boasts a very impressive resume with her work gracing the cover of many magazines. She has made over some of Australia’s biggest celebrities, and collaborated with the country’s best photographers on numerous high-profile advertising campaigns.
